Meet Quinnie

A value-driven contributor

Since I was a child, I have firmly believed in the power of love and kindness to create a better world for all people.

With that in mind, I applied for Environmental Management at BK University and moved to HCMC. During college, I got my first exchange to Sri Lanka, where I served as a project coordinator for an environment-related project for 6 weeks. After returning from Sri Lanka, I worked for AIESEC in Vietnam for 5 years in different fields (sales, marketing, L&D, event & agenda management…).

There, I learn that I’m really into Entrepreneurship: I am a natural problem-solver with a daring spirit; I love leading my team to victory and am not afraid to show myself to the world nor to be wrong; I am impact-oriented and have a strong business sense. I see my generalism as a way to contribute back to our community.

Root in Family & Relationship

I have always been fascinated by the idea that our world is made of connections. And for me, the core, most profound connection lies in my relationship with my family and my beloved.

I still remember reading my mom’s book about how to be good parents when I was a kid. In family gatherings, I had a chance to observe how the connection between husband and wife could affect the family dynamic. My purpose back then was to maintain and develop relationships among family actively.

In AIESEC, I learned about the concept of “leadership”. For me, leadership is about having good relationships with yourself and others. Since joining AIESEC, I have actively sought meaningful connections with my job, love, family, and colleagues…. During this practice, I have never felt more alive and fulfilled.

I am excited to continue leveraging the theories and practices I had via learning more about family & relationships and connecting with more like-minded people.

Learn to be free

Learning is not just about reading books. It’s more about accepting that you are a nutshell in this universe and exploring the best potential in this life. For me, it’s about: training myself, staying humble – curious – vulnerable, having more conversations with different people, reflecting on yourself, and spending more time appreciating myself and my surrounding…

Learning is the key to unlocking different opportunities and enjoying life as it is – this sounds like freedom to me. One of my life’s joys is learning and empowering others about the joy of learning. In the long run, I want to be surrounded by quality connections and support others to form meaningful relationships.
